Since he was a toddler, 
Joey, 5, has had an ongoing 
obsession with pirates. We 
wanted to add some 
pirate-themed elements around
the room to complement his 
comforter set. Also, to help 
get rid of his new-found fear of 
monsters, a star was painted 
on the lock of the treasure chest. 
He was told if he touches the 
special star when he gets scared,
all the monsters will go away -- 
but it will only work for him. 
He was thrilled.
